The campaign was officially launched by legendary athlete Mr. Milkha Singh, also known as "The Flying Sikh," during the Family Medicine and Primary Care Conference (FMPC) 2015. The campaign was flagged off by Mr. Madan Lal, a legendary cricketer from the 1983 Cricket World Cup-winning team, during the Family Medicine and Primary Care Conference (FMPC) 2024, held at AIIMS Rishikesh. Mr. Lal's involvement highlights the significance of sports and physical fitness in promoting health, particularly in family settings. The "Run for Family Health" campaign, inaugurated by Mr. Madan Lal at FMPC 2024, serves as a crucial initiative promoting health and fitness among families across India.
