AFPI New National Executive Elected for 2024-2027 at FMPC 2024, AIIMS Rishikesh
We are pleased to announce the election of the new National Executive of the Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI) for the term 2024-2027. The elections took place during the Family Medicine and Primary Care Conference (FMPC) 2024, held at AIIMS Rishikesh, marking a significant moment for the organisation as it continues to advance the field of family medicine in India.

The new executive team brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to strengthening primary care and supporting family physicians nationwide. Their leadership will focus on enhancing educational opportunities, promoting research and innovation, and engaging with policymakers to advocate for equitable healthcare policies. The founder of AFPI Dr Raman Kumar was unanimously designated as Chairman Emeritus for life at the General Body meeting for continued guidance.
Dr. (Col) Mohan Kubendra, the new President, expressed gratitude to the outgoing team for their contributions and outlined a vision focused on professional development, community health, and technology integration in family medicine.
